Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Saucier to join our dynamic culinary team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the creation, perfection, and consistency of all sauces, stocks, soups, and gravies, which are essential to our unique flavor profiles and menu items. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new sauces and maintain the highest standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of sauces, stocks, soups, and other liquid-based dishes.
- Ensure consistency in recipes and flavor profiles across all dishes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new and innovative sauces for the menu.
- Maintain immaculate standards of hygiene and food safety in the sauce station.
- Assist with the preparation of other menu items as needed.
- Manage inventory and ensure adequate supply of sauce ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Saucier or in a similar role.
- Formal culinary training or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of various sauce techniques, flavor pairings, and ingredients.
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and high standards of food presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
